What Plano can do and how to manage your data
1. Planning
- A calendar with day and week views and a task inbox. Set tasks manually or drag them to the hour you want.
- Tasks have a duration, priority, repeat rules, reminders and alarms. You can add photos, voice notes, comments and a description.
- Set your own available hours and exceptions, such as vacation. Plano only plans in your free time.
- Projects consist of tasks and subtasks in a fixed order, with a final deadline.
- Automatic planning (next free slot, rescheduling tasks, scheduling a whole project) costs 1 point per use. The point is charged only after the plan is applied successfully.
2. Tasks without a date
A task without a date goes to the Unplanned queue. It waits there with its duration and priority, but it does not appear in the calendar and is not synchronized with Google until you give it a date.
- Drag the task to a day, or choose the day and time manually.
- Priority sets the planning horizon: High within 2 days, Medium within 7 days, Low within 14 days.
- Plano can find a free slot for queued tasks automatically. A task you complete leaves the active plan.
3. Google Calendar and meetings
- Meetings and invitations require Google Calendar synchronization.
- You can invite people who do not have a Plano account to your meetings. They receive the invitation through Google Calendar.
- Plano can create, edit, move and delete events in calendars you have write access to. Deleting a synchronized task in Plano also deletes the event in Google.
4. AI assistant
AI features are optional and available after you sign in to your Plano account. They use points, and you see and confirm the cost before anything runs.
- Project with AI: you describe a goal and AI prepares a project with tasks, subtasks, estimated time and priorities. You can edit everything before saving.
- Meetings with AI: AI turns a description or pasted text into calendar entries. You see a preview before saving.
- Scheduling: you place the tasks of an AI project into free slots separately, when you are ready. The schedule preview is free, and 1 point is charged when you approve the proposal. Moving other tasks always needs your approval.
- What is sent to AI: only the text you type or paste, plus the planning context needed, such as task titles, durations and free time windows. Connecting Google does not start AI and does not send your whole calendar or contacts. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- AI results are an organizational aid. Check them before saving.
5. How to safely remove data connected to Google
Disconnecting your Google account
- In the app, open the Google Calendar settings and choose “Disconnect Google account”.
- Choose what happens to events imported from Google:
- Disconnect, keep events in my plan: they stay in Plano as ordinary local tasks.
- Disconnect and remove imported events: all meetings and events imported from Google disappear from Plano.
Events in your Google Calendar stay untouched in both cases. After disconnecting, Plano no longer reads or changes them, and your tasks lose their link to Google.
Uninstalling the app
Uninstalling removes the data stored on your device: tasks, attachments and settings. It does not disconnect your Google account on the server, so disconnect the Google account in the app first and uninstall afterwards. You can also revoke access in your Google account settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).
Want to delete your Plano account and its data as well? Write to Blaszczyk8610@gmail.com or use the account deletion option in the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
